2006 Domaine de Blanes Vin de Pays des Côtes Catalanes Muscat Sec

This was my first bottle of Muscat so while I have nothing for comparison purposes, it tasted good!

Pale in color, it had perfume, peaches, grapefruit, citrus, honeyed and flowery aromas - lots of nice things coming up from the glass.

On the palate it was crisp, fruity and refreshing. Initially it was like Squirt soda but then other less tart fruit filled in as well to round it out. Good concentration, crisp acid and a lingering aftertaste made this one a winner.

From Garagiste and only $11.99. Two thumbs up and great QPR.
